My name is Gabriel Dyer, I am 19 years old, and I am a student at Texas State University. I am senior in college right now as of Febuary of 2024. I am a Digital Media Innovation major, pursuing a career in either web design or graphic design. I decided to take this path, delving into digital media during the summer of 2022 when I first came to Texas State University as a Freshman. I chose to do pursue digital media because I have always been in love with technology ever since I was young. Ever since I started college at Texas State University, I have been working hard to reach my goals in the field of graphic design. Furthermore, I have learned skills in coding, social media, and graphic design in order to help build my portfolio. To enhance my skills, I also plan to do pursue an internship during this upcoming summer of 2024. Overall, I am really motivated to reach my goals for my future.
Delving into more details about me, I was born in Houston, Texas, on August 10th, 2004. When I grew older, I attended Robert Turner College and Career Highschool. During my time at Turner, I pursued my high school diploma and associates degree through a dual credit program in order to knock off a year or two in college. Once I graduated, I started to think about my next step in life which led me to going off to college at Texas State University! Now I live in a off campus apartment in San Marcos, Texas. I also live right next to campus.
I have a good number of hobbies I like to do on my free time. One hobby being that I play video games competitively. I have always been a competitive person at heart and playing video games competitively like competing in cash tournaments and prizes have been nothing but enjoyable to me and still is to this day. I also stream a lot as one of my other hobbies of the games I play like, Rocket League, Fortnite, Call of duty, and many other popular titles. In doing so I have earned a small following and even money as I pursue my streaming endeavors. Playing competitively has also earned me a spot on the esports team at Texas State University which has really honed my skills overtime. I love also traveling to different places, and seeing the world.
